Host Jana Waller scours the backcountry of Montana searching for emerging bruins. After a close encounter with a sow with cubs Jana flashes back to a grizzly bear cub capture that is both heart warming and teaches the viewer the dangers of hunting in bear country. In the end Jana connects on a blond bear that nearly gets swept away in raging river.
